Volunteering at the Independent Film Week Volunteering at the Independent Film Week is a great way to gain exposure to the independent film scene, make valuable contacts, get a behind-the-scenes look at who's doing what in the indie world, and meet like-minded people who share in supporting and promoting independent film. In addition to hands-on experience, volunteers completing 60 hours of service receive a free one year IFP membership ($100 value) which includes free passes to special screenings, a subscription to FILMMAKER Magazine and many other benefits. If you are 18 years or older, put your skills to good use and volunteer for the first and longest running film market dedicated to American independent filmmaking - The place where film buyers from around the world first discovered titles like Maria Full of Grace, Mad Hot Ballroom, and Clerks. |
